The Manchester Metropolitan University was my BSc study place and dramatically accelerated my career in games development and specialism in eXtended Reality (XR).


My Role's

- Computer Games Technologies BSc Student (2018 to 2021)  
Mastering fundamental games technology skills. Key units included Advanced Computer Graphics, Data Structures & Algorithms, Advanced Game Development, and Advanced Game Design.

- XR Student Intern (2021) 
Led the development of a research project investigating VR applications for lower back pain management, utilizing SteamVR and Unity.

- Technical Officer XR (2024)  
Managed multiple XR facilities while providing strategic direction for Health & Education faculty and the wider university. Simultaneously delivered multiple client projects using various game technologies. Self-managed workloads and project planning with extensive documentation. Handled facility administration including thorough risk assessments. Organized events and contributed to teaching activities.


Key Accomplishments

Mastered foundational game development disciplines including programming in C++, C#, Java and web-based languages, game design, computer graphics, and full development lifecycle implementation.

Gained extensive hands-on experience with XR technologies:
- SteamVR development
- Meta XR platforms
- XR Interaction Toolkit (XRI)
- OpenXR implementation

Designed and delivered games technology projects both independently and collaboratively with peers and clients.

Developed strong project management capabilities:
- Balanced multiple concurrent projects
- Maintained high-quality deliverables
- Built efficient workflow systems
- Managed operational demands effectively
